This award recognizes individuals and/or groups who have meritoriously fostered the advancement of carbon fiber, carbon fiber reinforced composite materials, and their process technologies and/or enhanced the attainment of the objectives of the carbon materials fields.
Nominations are accepted year-round. Award will be presented at CAMX 2018 in Dallas, Texas.

The Fellow Award represents prestigious recognition of a SAMPE Member for distinguished contributions in the fields of materials and processes.
Two people from members of SAMPE Japan were awarded to SAMPE Fellows s-Class of 2017.
It was the first time that the achievement of two recipients at the same time from SAMPE Japan.
