Symposium in Honor of the 75th Birthday of Prof. Minoru Taya
Professor Minoru Taya, currently at University of Washington, has challenged a number of new and difficult-to-solve engineering problems with his new models and designs over the last 40 years.
He started educational training at University of Tokyo (BS degree) and Northwestern University (MS and PhD degrees) then taught at University of Delaware (1979-1985), University of Washington (1986-present), Tohoku University (1989-1991) where he supervised a number of graduate students, visiting scholars and interacted with research collaborators all over the world.
As he will reach his 75th birthday this coming September 2019, in honoring this birthday, we plan a special two-day symposium at Tokyo University of Science Campus (Morito Memorial Hall), for Oct. 10-11, 2019!
